I don't know what to tell you all. So I guess I'll start with the fact that Obama is now president of the United States. Following the course of his campaign I came to conclude I don't know if he will make a good president...I'm indifferent...he's an amazing speaker but still I couldn't tell you what his platform stated no matter how much I knew about his campaign. My indifference comes with the realization that I cannot say if he will do good or bad for the country...like everyone else I am waiting to see the decisions he makes about the many issues presented in the United States at the moment. With this realization of the fact that this African American man has become president without giving any specifics as to how he plans to use this power he has gained amazes me. This man stands for Hope and such...well I hope he makes the right choices and works toward something amazing for all the citizens and not just what he feels is the best, considering the many many mistakes of Bush.
Just a random thought. And I hope you all watched the inauguration because although many sit on the fence as to their feelings toward Obama and his lack of a specifc platform...non the less today was historical and is most definitely a step forward in the fight for equality.
Here's to the hope of amazing outcomes, although Obama has his work cut out for him.
OH and on a side note...Bush looked all too pleased to move back to Texas and retire...
